Local food producers interested in selling to restaurants, grocery stores, schools, or wholesale distributors can join the virtual MarketReady Producer Training this August. Participants will learn how to meet buyer expectations and prepare their businesses for new market opportunities. The 3 sessions will take place on Zoom on August 4, 11, and 18 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm EST.
The Indiana State Department of Agriculture is helping cover registration for eligible applicants. Contact Sarah Hanson or call her at 765-543-1230 to check eligibility before registration. Registration is limited to 30 participants and the deadline is July 28.
The cost is $50 for those who are not eligible for the discount. We are also planning an in-person session in Fort Wayne on October 30th for those who do not prefer virtual.
